What is the thing you can put on a bow that holds the string back at full draw?

I remember a couple years back there was a product that connected to your bow and held your string back at full draw. When you were ready to shoot you just took the string of the mechanism and shot. Someone tell me what it's called!

There are many brand names for these devices but the generic name is a "release". Just ask to look at releases when you go to an archery store.

You can look at www.cabelas.com. the catalog numbers are FJ- 41-5482 and FJ-41-7080 and FJ-41-6583. Bass Pro has 11 of them listed in their catalog. Their website is www.basspro.com. Once you get their home page, do a search for "archery releases".

You should be able to find what you want at one of these places if your local store doesn't have one that you like or that meets your budget requirements.
