Can I bring a purse, laptop bag and carryon bag on the plane?

I flew on an international flight by Continental. The rules say you can perform it together on the bag and one "personal item". I want to bring my hand luggage, computer bag laptop and my wallet. Does the number of scholarship as a carryover to the point?

The purse and laptop bag would be both personal items - you do be able to provide them if you also bring hand luggage. If you can, put your purse or laptop in hand luggage. This so you can still access during flights if you need, but it will not count against your allowance.
