Something extra for my MOH?
My MOH has really helped me out a lot by designing and printing programs, coming to appointments with me, etc. I want to get her a little something extra as a thank you gift. I am giving each BM a personalized tote with a spa gift card. What else can I give my MOH? Should I include it in the tote and give it to her in front of everyone else, or should I give it to her in private so none of the BMs feel left out?
I WAS the MOH you described. The bride gave me an extra gift, and she did it privately. I think it was the best thing she could have done. If she'd given the gift to me in front of the bridesmaids, I'd have felt that she was doing so in order to let the other ladies know that they hadn't stepped up to the plate as I had. She wanted it to be a personal gesture of thanks, so she did it in private.
Because it is a personal gift, it should be something personally significant to her. For example, I collect hard-to-find books. "My" bride went online and got me a first edition novel for my collection.
