How do I attach the straps Spanx?

I know it attaches to your bra, but I can not for the life of me understand how they do. The instructions say to set a hook to the shapewear (well, done) and go to the bra and attach the hook of a second another "pocket" (what they call the assembly on the Spanx). There is no hook second! There are other hooks on the other ramps, but if you attach one of those strap that you try to place you in the same case. I am at a loss! Help!
