How do I attach it self-currency w pearls strung handle made / Cording or line fish on the sides of the handbag?

I love to bead my own handles odds and end pearls. I try to put Cording through the sides of handbag with my needle and add another bead on the inside and knot tying to end the slack cord which enters penultimate bead is added. Is there an easier way?

Have you tried using a ring go to both ends of the handle? I imagine using a buttonhole stitch to secure the ring go to the purse, and then covering the seam with a ball that would not be supported. It seems that provide some movement of the handle, too, without putting as much strain on the infrastructure of pearls. Just a thought.
