How to log a scholarship?

I need guidance on how to make a purse newspaper ... such as: http://www.uncommongoods.com/item/item.jsp?itemId=15371 http://fabsugar.com/526293 http://www.uncommongoods.com/item/item.jsp?catId = 3 & itemId = 15,370 and also a good (not woven) Tote Bag size ... with newspaper ... thank you, I will not buy one ... I want to make a ... Please provide a link to a page with directions if you find one .... I googled already ... not much luck.

The first and third bags look like the paper was folded into strips hat t have been woven. The second one looks like it has been tweaked to give texture. I recommend to try some. Skills could Basket help me here. After all, the materials are cheap and easy to find by. It also looks like the second bag has been treated with a layer of varnish to protect it. This is certainly a project that needs it. Another way to go would be to put layers of newspaper between two sheets of vinyl (you can even use newspaper clippings). There are products that allow you to iron those put in place. You may then be sewn into a bag like any reason other bag.
